Taking the Good News Relevantly to Every Young Person in Redditch
Every young person matters deeply to God. We exist to see young lives changed by the power of Jesus, through authentic relationships, creative outreach, and local partnership.
From our chairman
Dear Friends,
Looking back to Autumn 2025, we are filled with gratitude for how God has moved since our initial gathering at St Stephens Church, held in partnership with Redditch Youth for Christ (RYFC) and The Association of Christians Teachers (ACT).
Following that pivotal meeting, the Christian Youth Prayer Network was officially launched in January 2026 during an RYFC gathering at the Oasis Christian Centre. Our strategic vision was clear: to link local Churches, Schools, and Youth workers across the district of Redditch based on their geographical proximity.
Our Unwavering Aim: To pray intentionally for the youth of Redditch—that they might be saved, grow in faith, and flourish in every area of their lives.
We are entering an exciting new season. In September 2026, Phil Williams (Vice Chair of RYFC) stepped into the role of leading and further developing our daily prayer rota. Today, we are overjoyed to give thanks for 257 days of continuous daily prayer across our district.
Thank you deeply to everyone who stands with us in daily prayer for our young people. Together, we are working to see the very motto of our town fulfilled:
‘REDDITE DEO’ — Redditch for God
In faithful service,
Ron Skelton
Chairman, Redditch Youth for Christ
